Disney Parks Mobile Experience

Reference app architecture and ticket sales prototype that helped shape the Disney Parks app — translating high-stakes, in-person guest moments into seamless mobile flows. Strategic approach: Brand first, OS second. All native iOS and Android components were redesigned and replaced with Disney-branded elements while maintaining the magic of the Disney experience throughout the entire digital journey.

01 · Problem

Complex park experiences, high-stakes flows.

Guests at Disney Parks juggle tickets, reservations, navigation, and ride decisions in real time, often with family in tow. Every friction point shows up as a missed memory. The mobile app had to absorb that complexity and present it as ease.

Two coordinated efforts: a reference app architecture that gave product teams a shared spine to build against, and a ticket sales prototype that pressure-tested the most commercially critical flow.
