With 28 years of experience at the forefront of digital design, I’ve led transformative work across web, mobile, and enterprise platforms. My career spans leadership roles at global brands including Microsoft, Amazon, Disney, and Target—where I’ve shaped mobile experiences, driven innovation, and built systems that scale.
At Microsoft, I led an AI innovation team and played a pivotal role in Azure’s evolution—designing core platform experiences, launching Identity Governance, and bringing SAP to the cloud. My titles have ranged from Principal Designer to Design Manager and Lead Project Manager, reflecting a career built on strategic vision, hands-on execution, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
I’ve guided innovation projects for Disney and Amazon, taught design at Cal Poly SLO and the University of Washington, and continue to explore the intersection of technology and the physical world—where smart environments, IoT, and human-centered systems converge.
As the design lead for Azure Compute—the foundational layer of Microsoft Azure—I spearheaded the evolution of one of the cloud’s most critical and complex services. I guided the user experience from core functionality to enterprise-scale, solving for intricate technical variables while ensuring clarity, usability, and performance.
As a design leader for SAP on Azure, I played a pivotal role in bringing enterprise-grade SAP solutions to Microsoft’s cloud platform—enabling organizations to modernize core business processes at scale with offerings like SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This initiative was central to Microsoft’s enterprise strategy, and I was a key partner in executing the user experience that made it possible.
As the design lead for Identity Governance on Azure, I partnered closely with product managers and key enterprise customers to launch the Privileged Identity Management (PIM) experience—an essential security feature that empowers organizations to manage, control, and monitor access to critical resources.
At Target, I led a design team focused on blending the in-store experience with the mobile app—creating seamless, cross-channel interactions that enhanced customer engagement. I also championed accessibility improvements, ensuring our digital platforms better served users with diverse needs and abilities.
At Disney, I led a design team focused on creating a brand-first, platform-second reference mobile application—an experience framework that unified digital touchpoints across all Disney parks. This approach prioritized storytelling, visual identity, and guest delight while ensuring scalable functionality across diverse park operations.
At Amazon, I led a design team focused on mobile innovation across multiple platforms—exploring new interaction models, refining user flows, and enhancing cross-device consistency. My team demonstrated previously unseen value to senior leadership, showing how thoughtful design could unlock new business opportunities and elevate Amazon’s mobile ecosystem.
I’ve taught mobile app design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo—my undergraduate alma mater—and in the Human-Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) program at the University of Washington, where I also earned my master’s degree. Across both institutions, I’ve brought real-world experience into the classroom, helping students bridge theory with practice in digital product design.
